Nate:

Being a leader at Sunbury Heights Primary School has been my dream, ever since I moved here in 2022. From organizing events, to going to conferences in the city, a leader is a massive role that honestly I personally believe that almost the whole school deserves. Our school is so kind and responsible, and I am so happy that I get to become a role model for our amazing school.

Lexi:

Being a leader means the world to me, I always wanted to represent the school, and I finally got my chance to be a leader in my final year of primary school, and I want to encourage everyone to their fullest potential. It has made me confident to speak in front of large groups of people. Sunbury Heights Primary School has this positive energy you can feel as soon as you walk through the gates. I love coming to school and putting my badge on it makes it feel much more real. I love representing our school in activities like ANZAC day ceremony and the GRIP conference in Melbourne. All the leaders we have a really strong connection and I believe it is because of our honesty which I believe is very power full in life.

Scarlet:

Being a leader is the greatest thing that happened to me. I always looked up to the school leaders ever since prep, and I always thought that I could be a leader one day and it finally happened. I am so grateful for this role, and I am also grateful for the people that encouraged me.

Levent:

Being a leader has been so much fun from representing the school to running assembly. Being school captain is one of my biggest achievements. I am proud of where I stand and being a school captain has been my favourite thing in all of my schooling.

Millie:

Being a leader has meant the world to me! I am so grateful for having a role like this, in 2026. It has given me the opportunity to be brave and speak in front of crowds and others. I love coming to school every day knowing that I’m a leader at this school and showing the school values everyday. I also enjoy raising the flags every Monday and taking them down  carefully on Fridays before I speak at assembly. I love being a Junior School Council leader and organising fun activities and more as a leader.

Pamudi:

Getting the chance to be a leader means so much to me. Ever since I came to this school I admired the school leaders and hoped that one day I could be in their position. Now that I am, it feels amazing. I’m really thankful for this opportunity and for all the people who supported and encouraged me to get here. I’m proud of myself and excited to do my best and be a positive role model for others.

Amilee:

Being a leader has brought joy and happiness to my life and I’ve made new friends. Being a leader is being Responsible, Kind and Respectful. We pick up rubbish when needed and help everyone with their learning and if they are hurt. It has given me an amazing opportunity and I love being a Leader so that I can be a role model to others. I love doing Assembly on Fridays and talking to the school. It makes me feel included.
