Facilities at Sunbury Heights Primary School
Sunbury Heights Primary School provides a diverse range of high quality facilities that support engaging learning experiences, student wellbeing, and whole school community involvement. The school comprises 22 classrooms, delivered through a combination of permanent buildings and well maintained portable spaces, ensuring flexibility to meet a range of learning needs. All classrooms are equipped with interactive boards, supporting modern teaching practices and enhancing student engagement through digital learning.
Specialist learning areas play an important role in enriching the curriculum. These include a dedicated Science Room that encourages inquiry based and hands on learning, a well resourced Art Room that supports creativity and visual expression, and an Italian Room that enables focused and immersive language learning. The school also features two large flexible learning spaces, which accommodate collaborative learning, group activities, intervention programs, and whole class or year level learning opportunities.

A General Purpose Room supports physical education, performances, assemblies, and community events, while a Covered Music Garden provides a unique outdoor space for musical exploration and creative learning. Students also have access to two Gaga pits, which promote active play, teamwork, and inclusive physical activity.
Outdoor spaces are designed to encourage active, social, and imaginative play. The school features junior and senior playgrounds tailored to different age groups, as well as two full size synthetic outdoor basketball courts that support physical education programs, team sports, and lunchtime activity.
