Dulap Wilim Community Hub
About the Hub
The Dulap Wilim Community Hub is a welcoming, inclusive space located on the grounds of Sunbury Heights Primary School & Sunbury Downs Secondary College, dedicated to strengthening connections between families, education, and community services. The Hub supports local families—particularly those from diverse cultural backgrounds—by providing opportunities for learning, engagement, and belonging.
The Hub operates through a strong partnership with Community Hubs Australia, which supports the delivery model and enables the employment of a dedicated Hub Coordinator to facilitate programs, build relationships, and respond to community needs.
Our Vision
The Dulap Wilim Community Hub is committed to building a connected, inclusive and thriving community, where families feel supported, valued and empowered to engage in their children’s learning and in community life.
Governance & Partnerships
The Dulap Wilim Community Hub is underpinned by a collaborative governance model that brings together key local partners:
- Sunbury Heights Primary School – host site and lead education partner
- Sunbury Downs Secondary College – secondary education partner supporting pathway continuity
- Hume City Council (Kindergarten Services) – early years partner supporting school readiness and family engagement
Together, these partners ensure a seamless, community-wide approach to learning and wellbeing from early childhood through to secondary education.
In addition, the Hub is strengthened through its overarching partnership with Community Hubs Australia, which provides strategic support, training, and a national framework for best practice in community hub delivery.
